MACINTOSH MONDAY

This week Andrew has been off work and at home with me as he had so much time away from home. We have enjoyed little trips out and spending some time sorting out our house (and life!) Macintosh has certainly enjoyed having Andrew around all the time. Well except maybe during his trip to the vets and when he had his teeth cleaned. He's not a fan of those two experiences! 

We did give him some treats to make up for it though. One of the biggest being some leftovers from a meal out at Famous Dave's. For those of you who don't know Famous Dave's is a BBQ place. It has insane amounts of meat in one meal. We went there for a date night and couldn't manage to eat all of our meal, so we brought some home and used it to treat (in very small amounts) the puppy. He LOVED it! Seriously this dog would do anything for food. All the commands he ignores when you don't have food, he does with an insane amount of speed and enthusiasm when you have food. Its amazing to see the transformation. 

Unfortunately he does it with such speed we rarely get a chance to photograph it. Plus our hands are usually covered in BBQ sauce of some variety due to the meat. So I'll just leave you with a photo reminding you how attentive he can be when food is in the mix.

PS Apparently California is supposedly beginning to cool down in the next month. This should hopefully lead to more activity from our beloved Macintosh. Currently he spends a lot of time snoozing in the shade or sunbathing, they don't make for interesting stories. Andrew's hoping that with the cooler weather will come more hilarious events. I'm hoping with the cooler weather there will be no change in this placid and wonderfully behaved dog I've come to know! Time will tell I guess.
