MACINTOSH MONDAY

With Andrew being away for such a long time speaking to him regularly is really important as it helps us keep up to date with all thats happening. When we first did 6 months apart I was in Kenya and he was back in the UK doing his basic training. We had a once a week phone call at most and it was crackly and delayed. Now we sit and phone whenever we want for free using skype or facetime and that means we can see each other! Now this is all well and good for humans who can see and hear the phone call and understand what is happening. For Macintosh however it causes problems!

When we have a chat via facetime Macintosh can hear Andrew's voice and he does get a bit excited. His tail begins to wag and he looks quite happy. But as soon as a few minutes have gone by he begins to get frustrated. He can hear Andrew calling him but he can't work out where the voice is coming from. He walks towards the phone and stares puzzled at the blurry image on the screen. Dogs can see images on HD phones/laptops but not to the quality we can. So you get one bemused Macintosh staring at the screen with his head tilted trying to decipher whats happening. A little like this...

Or if I am busy chatting to Andrew without Mac in the room he suddenly comes rushing in and begins to obstruct your view of the screen. Andrew and I have started screen capturing some of these moments. Enjoy his oddness!
